Kandinsky prize

Kandinsky prize is an annual award in the sphere of contemporary art, which originated in 2007 with support of the BREUS Foundation. The aim of the prize is to support contemporary art in Russia. Any Russian artist is welcome to bring the application on the principle of self-nomination. The winners are chosen by means of voting of the International Jury with Experts Council involved. The total prize money is 50000 Euros.
Nominations:
–The project of the year;
–Young artist of the year;
– Scientific work on history and theory of contemporary art.
Kandinsky prize is considered to be one of the most significant national awards in the sphere of contemporary art.
